Automatic Reminder Notifications

Tablecloth sends you automatic reminders about your tasks.

To help stay on top of your to-dos, Tablecloth automatically sends the following reminders on tasks. They are triggered based on the tasks’ start and due dates and their current status. They will only be sent when they meet certain conditions.

  • Start task reminder: The following task is ready to begin: <Task Name>
    • Begin working on the specified task.
  • Three days task reminder: This is a reminder that the following task is due soon and needs attention.
    • Ensure you are on track to complete the task by its due date.
  • Late task: The following task is overdue: <Task Name>
    • Prioritize and complete the overdue task promptly.
  • Late task follow up: This is the final reminder that the task is overdue.
    • Review the task, assess reasons for delay, and contact us to adjust timelines if necessary.
  • Assigned Approvers: When any user comments on a task in the “Needs Attention” workflow state, the assigned approver will be notified of the comment.
  • Needs Attention or Requires Resubmission: When tasks are moved to "Needs Attention" or "Requires Resubmission" the assigned user will be notified.
  • Needs Attention (1 week later notification): "This is a reminder that the following task needs attention: <Task Name>"
  • Requires Resubmission (1 week later notification): This is a reminder that the following task requires resubmission: <Task Name>"
  • Late tasks: Users whose tasks are overdue will receive notifications one day and one week after the due date. Late task notifications will not be triggered if the workflow is "Awaiting feedback."
